Step 1 Cut the plastic bottle in the middle, drill a hole in the cap and place a cotton string or a piece of cloth. Fill the upper portion of the bottle with soil and plant your herbs or vegetables.
Step 2 Put some water in the lower portion of the bottle and place the upper portion on top of it.
You now have an edible garden by your kitchen window!
